will be held at Liberty Arts Gallery in Yreka.

Do you want to paint and are not sure where to start? Are you painting and feel you could benefit from a group studio experience? Then, this is the workshop for you!

Everyone will be guided as they work.

Students will also explore line, shape, dark and light values, texture. The workshop also includes an introduction to the basic characteristics of color.

We will focus on personal thoughts and ideas as the message of a painting becomes obvious. The visual elements create a strong foundation and help the artists to express meaning in each work.

No art experience is necessary, and any experience is welcome. Because of the unique nature of each workshop, previous workshop participants will find a new and challenging experience.

The registration fee for this 5-day studio workshop is $350.
All paint and paper will be provided.
Offering a reduced rate, $150, for a studio assistant.
