2020 Virtual Members Meeting

As the May 2020 Members Meeting has been canceled due to the current health regulations, we will have a Virtual Members Meeting.

If you have ever wanted to show your art, support a great artist you know, or are a professional artist already – this is the time to sow the seeds of your future exhibition!

Liberty Arts provides a unique opportunity for members to be a curator of their own show. The wealth of creativity in Siskiyou County is awe inspiring and we are excited to see what our community of artists has been working on.

To adapt with current times, this year’s meeting will be online through video and images on our website as well as email voting.

In order to do this, we will need a collection of images to show us your idea.  If possible, a PowerPoint presentation is the best form to submit – however, we are adaptable and will help you put it together.  These shows are for the 2021 – 2022 calendar, we just need a teaser about what your exhibition will be about, you will still have plenty of time to organize and create!

Please email your presentation to us by
August 17th: LibertyArtsGallery@gmail.com
with the subject: Members Meeting 2020

Please let us know in your email if you need help putting your photos and ideas into a presentation.  (photos jpeg please)

Once we have all the submissions, they will go online to our website so that all our members can view and vote for their favorites.

Details on viewing and voting to follow.

All members will be able to view the presentations and email their selections for the 2021 – 2022 exhibition season.

These are the options for presenting your grand exhibition …

  1. A self-produced PowerPoint presentation emailed to LibertyArtsGallery@gmail.com with the subject line Members Meeting 2020.
  2. Submit .jpg images with complete descriptions with the subject line Members Meeting 2020.
  3. Call for an appointment with Sharon and bring all of your resources, preferably on a thumb drive, to the gallery for assistance.

Please review the Curator Responsibilities.

If you are not already a member of Liberty Arts, please consider it.  It’s easy to become a member and your donation goes directly to promoting arts and art education in Siskiyou County visit our Membership page.
