Liberty Arts offers opportunities for Members of the gallery and the community alike. Once a year, we hold a meeting to decide the following year’s exhibition schedule. Gallery Members are invited to present ideas and vote on their favorites. The top 9 exhibition concepts are produced the following year. View the video above to see a behind-the-scenes peek at the procedure.

Liberty Arts also enjoys an enthusiastic and committed volunteer base. In addition to the nine hard-working board members, volunteers also prepare and serve food at receptions and serve in creative leadership by curating and organizing most exhibitions.

Liberty Arts now has over 175 members and a reliable group that recorded 1041 hours of service in supporting the gallery and events in 2010. Many hours are given for professional services such as design and photography. Volunteers on show committees are usually responsible for tasks, which include wall preparation, painting, lighting adjustments and hanging. Curators and show committees change each show, with an open invitation for participation to all Members.
