Call for Creations


The 12” x 12” show is an open call for works measuring 12″ wide and 12″ long. (This is finished/framed work size.) The dimension can be any size. Work can of any medium, watercolor, encaustic, oils, shadowbox, as long as it fits the 12” x 12” requirement. Nothing smaller…nothing bigger than the 12″ x 12” format.

All work sells for the same price. Artists get 30% Liberty gets 70%. Remember this is a fundraiser to support Liberty Arts. All works will sell for $60.

“We are hoping that artist will use this as an opportunity to support Liberty Arts by bringing us artwork that will be purchased by people shopping for the gift giving season.”  Co-curators are Brenda Woods and Lauri Sturdivant.

There is no limit to the number of pieces artists may submit. Entry fees will be waived for this show.

While this is not a juried show the curators reserves the right to pull pieces due to space constraints or to create the strongest show possible.

Opening Reception Friday, December 4, 2015, 5:00 – 7:00 pm

Unsold work will be on exhibit 12/04/15 through 12/31/15 and may be
picked up by the artist on Saturday, Jan. 2nd, 12:00 – 4:00 pm

Artwork to be delivered to Liberty Arts, 108 W. Miner St., Yreka on
Wednesday, Nov. 25, Friday, Nov. 27 or Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015
during gallery hours of 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Please deliver your artwork with this Artist Release completed with title and materials information for each piece. Artist Release

NOTE: Velvet Elephant Art Center & Fair Trade Emporium always carries stretched 12×12 canvases and 12×12 wood & glass picture frames. Anything else like cradled or clay boards, etc would have to be special ordered. Ask about discounts and special order discounts.

    Which is it? Will 11-1/2″ diameter/round be acceptable?
