A photographic exhibition curated by James Gilmore

Exhibition Dates: October 8 – October 25 2008

“Bounty is a deliberately vague theme, and I was looking for non-literal interpretations – ones in which the artist establishes a dialog with the viewer that questions, rather than explains.” ~ James Gilmore, Curator

Thirty-one photographic artists illustrate a wide array of interpretation in response to the word Bounty, resulting in a challenge for viewers to stop and reflect on the images and their content.

The show offers examples of alternative photography methods including cyanotype, tin type and two anthotypes – photographs using photo-sensitive plant material, in this case spinach, as the paper emulsion.
