Wonder Woman Maureen Williams

Held on Thursday, April 16th.

To help support CASA and get in the mood for their Superhero Run & Walk on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Greenhorn Park in Yreka, Liberty Arts organized and Lenita Higgs hosted a drawing session in her new yoga studio.

The models were dressed as their favorite Superhero and we all had an amazing evening of drawing, fun & friendship. We had such a great time we just might do it again!

CASA of Siskiyou County is a non-profit organization that recruits, screens, trains, and supports community volunteers who are “a voice in court” for abused, neglected, and abandoned children in juvenile judicial proceedings – meaning children brought into the court system. We are a national organization with more than 900 chapters in 900 courts.

CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. CASA volunteer advocates are sworn court officers trained to work one-on-one with these children and are best equipped to help make sure that the educational, medical, and practical needs of these children are identified and met. Through these advocacy efforts, CASA is working with the court to ensure that every child has a chance for a brighter future.

To find out more about this wonderful organization that assists our most vulnerable children visit CASA of Siskiyou County.
