Little Altars Everywhere

An invitation to the Spirits through a Celebration of the Day of the Dead

First modeled as an exploration into the tradition of “Dia de los Muertos”, this multi-cultural show germinated the creation of altars honoring the dead by many local artists in a variety of expressions. Non-traditional altars in the forms of photographs and paintings were among many assemblages constructed with souvenirs and mementos from the lives of those who have passed.
