Liberty

Twenty-two Artists respond to the theme liberty in artwork of various media- painting, sculpture, photography, video and installation. The exhibit draws expression from a wide range of viewpoints- from our Founding Fathers’ notions of Liberty to the current debates in our nation today that draw attention to the interpretation of Liberty and how it is
expressed/experienced or potentially denied.
A display highlighting the Liberty Painting project, originated in the late 1970s, and which was inspired by local artist Leon McFadden and several other Siskiyou County residents is also featured.
